Ray Roberts Marine offers a comprehensive
marine engineering service from a workshop situated at Riverside Drive
Marina. Core brands are Volvo Penta, Yanmar and Perkins but they can
tackle pretty much any mechanical problem you may have.
They are particularly knowledgeable about marine drive trains, from cutlass bearings and seals to engine controls and cooling systems. They service engine controls, cables and steering systems by Morse, Teleflex, Ultraflex, Hynautic, Edson and Wagener. They supply a range of electrical panels, inverters, switches, monitors, exhaust systems and basics such as hose clamps and lubricants. Ray Roberts Marine is an agent for Johnson/Jabsco pumps, Autostream feathering propellers, R & D drive plates, engine mounts and flexi couplings, PRM, Hurth, Borg Warner and ZF gearboxes, plus generator sets including Kohler, Mase and Northern Lights. Owner Grant McKenzie has many years of experience providing marine mechanical services to visiting yachts.
