Our mission is to provide maximum vessel safety and personal security while maintaining a friendly happy atmosphere. With our certified 70 tonne lifter, sturdy steel cradles, floodlighting, security patrols, & safe-power electrical outlets you are assured of a safe stay. Modern laundry, toilet & shower facilities are on site & for those wishing to relax at the end of the day, there is a complimentary BBQ area and courtyard. Catering for 60 vessels with an adjacent sandblasting facility, Dockland 5 Services Ltd provides an area for those who wish to do their own work, utilise the highly qualified on-site boatbuilders, riggers, engineers & chandlers, or choose from the wide range of contractors and trades available in Whangarei. | Norsand Boatyard | ||

Norsand Boatyard has hardstand provision for up to 70 yachts. Their concrete slipway has a capacity for vessels of up to 100 Tons in weight and 11m beam. Multihull are a specialty at Norsand and they are hauled on a custom built hydraulic trailer capable of lifting a 40 Ton multihull up to 1.5 metres high if required. All services are available on site – boatbuilders, painters, sandblasters, engineers, mechanics, electricians, welders, labourers, fiberglass and canvas workers. Norsand Boatyard can manage your refit, overseeing contractors on your behalf. The yard is situated at the end of a quiet no exit street away from traffic noise and has a rural outlook across the river but is only 1.5km from the centre of town. Facilities are excellent – laundry, showers, toilets, BBQ and Internet. Norsand’s friendly and experienced staff will ensure you have an enjoyable stay. |

| Riverside Drive Marina | ||

Ray, Barbara and Karl Roberts will make your stay at Riverside Drive Marina an enjoyable experience. Ray has been in the marine business for 35 years and has built many fine yachts for overseas and local clients, including the Hiscock’s Wanderer V. The yard has 30 finger berths and 30 hardstand sites. The floating berths have wireless internet available, plus electricity and fresh water. There is a coin operated laundry, showers and a gas barbecue in an outdoor area set up for socialising. The yard has independent boat builders, painters, a stainless steel workshop and a marine engine workshop all staffed by tradespeople who guarantee their workmanship. There is a seven-day chandlery shop on site and the marina is an easy 15 minute walk from the centre of Whangarei city. For those staying longer or expecting visitors there is an off-street car park. |

Ship Repair NZ Ltd is a new company, owned and operated by Henk & Mary Eilering, whose highly skilled staff have a wealth of knowledge in the marine sector. Ship Repair NZ Ltd offer very experienced Superyacht refit project management and a facility that includes a very sheltered commercial wharf with berths of 120m, 67m and 36m and a 2000 tonne slipway The Company will be focusing on the Superyacht sector of the Marine Industry. Recent projects include the refit of Matua (90m, 1800 tonne) for a very happy owner. Although the jobs list increased three fold during the refit the job was still completed one day ahead of schedule and also below budget. |
