Rudolph’s was established in the 1970’s and has specialised in serving Northland's marine sector for over 20 years. They are approved applicators for leading marine paint manufacturers Altex and International. 

Rudolph’s offers full abrasive blasting and coating services for all types of marine vessels, including

  • Tugs
  • Barges
  • Ships
  • Fishing Vessels
  • Launches

Their Lower Port Road facility, adjacent to the Dockland 5 complex, handles vessels up to 70 tonne. The Dockland 5 travel lift transports your vessel to Rudolph's blasting facility. Larger vessels are prepared and coated at the NZ Ship Repair slipway or NZ Refits slipway close to the Lower Port Road facility.
