Kara from Whangarei Marinas and Blair from Port Nikau Marina are on their way to Tahiti to showcase everything Whangārei has to offer the cruising community. They'll be connecting with yacht owners, captains and crew to highlight why Whangārei is the ideal destination for refits, maintenance, provisioning and relaxation, as well as a safe and well-equipped stopover during the Pacific cyclone season. The Whangārei marine sector will be represented internationally this month, with Sharron Beck, from Whangārei Marinas travelling to the Panama Canal to promote Whangārei Harbour to visiting cruising yachts. During the trip, she will be visiting several marinas near the canal – one of the world’s busiest gateways for international cruising vessels – to connect with yacht owners preparing to cross the Pacific.
